Many pharmaceutical web sites use patient testimonials as a way for visitors to relate to other patients. Many sites simply provide a video listing of testimonials for a user to browse. Instead of following this standard approach, we created a balance between video and written content, creating an experience entwining a rich story alongside compelling information.
Leveraging just the right mix of Web 2.0 technologies like Flash® and Ajax® helped to round out user interaction within the site. Knowing when to apply the appropriate technologies to design is imperative to achieving a balance of form and functionality within a site.
