Built to Evolve – The initial project for this application was considered a “pilot.” Our team built the foundation and underlying data structure, allowing the application to extend to other divisions in a reasonable amount of time. By building flexibility into the technology, we assured the initial investment could be carried to future phases.
In order for simplicity to be achieved in our design and UI, we leveraged AJAX® to build the GUI. Our aim was always to create a simple responsive application with similar functionality to the current client system.
